Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff is a critical part of QIAA and ensures the club runs smoothly throughout the year. They ensure that QIAA abides by equitable hiring practices, encourage constant feedback between all QIAA members, handle internal conflicts, and be responsible for member accountability throughout the year.

Finance

QIAA finances are run primarily by the CFO, who is responsible for creating QIAA's annual budget, allocating funds to different initiatives and approving club purchases. All payments are co-signed by both the CFO and President. 

Reimbursements can be offered for QIAA related purchases to QIAA members and initiative directors.

Sponsorship

QIAA is always on the lookout for supportive businesses and institutions inline with QIAA's core values who wish to support our mission. Valuable sponsorships have already been created with Kaplan Inc., the Centre for International and Defense Policy and others.

Marketing

QIAA seeks to promote itself throughout Queen's campus and beyond, in order to best recognize all of the initiatives the QIAA offers. QIAA marketing is responsible for advertising all QIAA and QIAA-affiliated initiatives and events. This is done through a combination of social media, email newsletters, physical advertisements.

Graphics

Graphics is a crucial component of the QIAA brand and image. The QIAA graphics team works to create high quality promotional material for QIAA initiatives and ensures that the QIAA brand is used and promoted across all related events

Events

Events is responsible for building a cohesive and inclusive environment within the organization. These include team bonding events, socials and other ways for members to connect to others in the club.

Outreach

QIAA takes pride in its involvement with the local community. QIAA's Outreach initiative organizing QIAA outings with local charities and interest groups. This is an important part of supporting the local area and integrating QIAA members into the Kingston community.
