What is QIAA?
The Queen’s International Affairs Association, or QIAA (pronounced KEY-AH), is one of the largest and oldest clubs at Queen’s University, since 1907.
QIAA operates as an umbrella organization for a number of different initiatives across Queen's campus. In fact you might have been to a QIAA event without even realizing it! QIAA hosts frequent guest speakers, runs a magazine, radio show, Model UN team and more!
If you've heard some one talk about Queen's Model UN Team, or The Observer, or Right of Reply then chances are they were talking about a QIAA initiative! You can find more information about our initiatives here.
The goal of QIAA is to promote a better understanding of international affairs among all Queen's students.
How do I join?
Any Queen's student is allowed to join QIAA!
Membership grants full access to all QIAA events, socials, and sponsorship benefits. QIAA members are also allowed to apply for positions within QIAA, run for elected leadership, and propose constitutional changes at the Annual General Members' Meetings.
If you are looking for more information or have any questions about QIAA and how to join, please do not hesitate to reach out to chiefofstaff@qiaa.org
